Safety Notices

1. For the long course their will be cows in a race from 1300. You MUST give way to them. Please plan on starting by 1130.
2. On the long course you may not swim across the lake or attempt to wade the large swamp. These options will be marked with red cross stripe on the map.

Covid Rules

This event will occur under Level 2 Covid rules and we want to make sure we keep everyone as safe as possible. We will be following the guidelines set out by Orienteering NZ (click to view)

Specifically for our event we would ask everyone to do the following:

1. Please pre-register, even if you might not attend. You only have to pay if you do attend and pre registering allows us to pre-allocate dibbers and enter people on courses which makes it a lot quicker and safer on the day.
2. ​​​​​​All payments must be made online. Please put your surname/BrtDom as referencePlease do not come to the event of you are at all sick
3. We will have have a QR code and registration form. All people who attend the event must use either the QR code or the form so we can contact trace if necessary
4. Please stagger start times as far as possible and please do not form a large gaggle at registration
5. Hand sanitiser will be available at the event and competitors should sanitise their hands before starting and after finishing the event.
6. Maintain social distancing of 2m at all times, both at the event centre and on the course. Competitors should move away from controls as soon as they have punched them and should not gather in large groups after they have completed the course
7. Results will not be displayed at events but will be posted on Winsplits as soon as possible after the event has finished
