SATURDAY Event Classic point to point event set on the top end of the Huatoki walkway in a peaceful bush setting on the edge of the city.

Pre register by 8pm 30th July to secure a waterproof map. Paper maps also available at registration on the day.

August event is around the tennis club and into the Huatoki Domain. Although the domain is small it has some hidden features and complex topography that catches people out every year, a compass may be useful and turn up early if could be slow.. The long and medium courses will be slippery if wet. All but one course involves crossing the road, so smaller children need to be supervised and all runners should be careful at the crossing.

Start - Down by Huatoki stream with access from the tennis club drive, please park on the road. 

Start times 12pm - 2pm

Course closes 3pm

 

4 courses available (all distances as the crow flies, not running distances):

• White - 1km - Easy course for beginners or children with text control descriptions. No road crossings.
• Short - 1.7km - Easy course but with symbols for the control description so make sure you familiar yourself with the symbols before you come along
• Medium - 2.7km - Orange course with some harder bush controls
• Long - 4.6km - Orange/Red course with longer legs and harder bush controls

Please check the website before the event in case there are any last minute changes. This event will not be run in very bad weather.
