Classic orienteering event set over 4 courses, suitable for all abilities.

1. Red long 6 Km (hardest)
2. Red short 4.6 Km 
3. Orange 3.6 Km
4. Yellow 2.5 Km (easiest)

Start between 1200-1300hr courses close at 1500hr. Start location 688 Frankley Road.

Course Quote from the controller Karl - "Taranaki's premier map, set over rolling farmland that heads down towards the valley carved out by the the Mangaotuku Stream.  The stream ends in the renowned Ratapihipihi Scenic reserve recently rated as "one of the top short walks in the Taranaki region" by stuff.co.nz.  However off trail expect a dense subtopical rainforest equiped with supplejack, swamps and historic logging pits.  Red course's expect to get wet feet."

Safety notice: Treat all farm fences as electric to avoid any shocking surprises.  Respect any livestock that you may encounter.  If you are still on course after 1500hr make your way back to the start as controls will be removed.
